New York interruped the 5 day price drop to slightly positive when closing.
Term price of arabica yesterday turned to 116-117 to avoid the lowest level from 2 years June 19 to 114.95 and end the chain of five consecutive days devaluation. That is a remarkable thing.
London September to 2018 several times a day at 1699, crossed out to hit 1707 but then failed to close that level but closed 1695.
Price fluctuations in both sessions were not significant.
The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) in its World Coffee Business report for the 2018/19 season forecasts that world coffee production is expected to increase by 11.40 million bags compared to 2017/18. The reason is that the output of Vietnam and Indonesia increased, specifically Vietnam + 5% and Indonesia + 2%. But the increase is still Brazil due to the year cycle was at +9.30 million bags with total production of Brazil reached 60.2 million bags.
